{the shard yard} provides workshops and private parties where reclaimed glass is fused with your creativity. After a brief introduction of techniques and safety guidelines, beginners to professional artists are soon off and running to create their one-of-a-kind piece of art.
Date night? Girls Night Out? Birthday? Family Reunion? {the shard yard} provides a unique experience where memories and treasures are formed. No previous experience is necessary. All tools and materials are included in your one to two hour workshop. Kids' Workshops are also available for scouts, youth organizations, day camps, and parties.
The diverse media of shard art is very forgiving and develops right before your eyes. Your instructor will be as hands-on or hands-off as you require to ensure you take home a beautiful one-of-a-kind piece.
We can also create commissioned pieces for you. Pricing is based on size and complexity. Pieces may also be purchased from our gallery. Gordon in Alvin, Texas.
